Dj Maphorisa says Covid-19 has not affected career financially

As South Africans in the entertainment industry continue to feel the negative financial impact of Covid-19 on their careers, there is one entertainer who says he is not feeling the pinch at all.

It has been 5 months of no income gigs for South Africa entertainers and some have been calling for President Ramaphosa to ease restrictions for the sake of their careers. However one entertainer Dj Maphorisa seems to be living his best life still during this time. Maphorisa was seen shopping at Sandton’s Diamond Walk.

Some tweeps called him out saying Maphorisa was flexing on fans at the same time calling out for industries to reopen.

The Amapiano Dj clapped back saying the times he had called out for the reopening of the industry he was doing it for the sake of other entertainers. He went on to say that he is not broke and currently has gang bags of money.

“I have gang of bags for days. I was saying the whole country is suffering, nna I have a plan. I think for other people, get it? I am not selfish. If I want to, I can go to (Diamond Walk) every day,”
