Eskom implements stage 1 load shedding until midnight
Stage 1 load shedding will be implemented from 16:00 – 24:00 this evening. Loadshedding will then be suspended as the system has sufficiently recovered, said the power utility.

Eskom spokesperson Sikhonathi Mantsantsa cautioned that the power system constraints continue to persist.
