Meet your top 10 Miss South Africa, The Miss SA organisation has announced officially the top 10 finalists for the 2022 pageant set to be held in Pretoria in August.
MEET MISS South Africa TOP 10
The Miss South African organisation has on Monday 13 June 2022 announced the Top 10 finalists for the 2022 pageant. They are Ayanda Thabethe, Anarzade Omar, Lebogang Mahlangu, Itumeleng Parage, Keaoleboga Nkashe, Luvé Meyer, Pearl Ntshehi, Luyanda Zuma, Ndavi Nokeri, and Tamsyn Jack.
The contestants are from five provinces:
The top 10 Miss South Africa are from five provinces:
- Gauteng has four (two from Tshwane and one each from Soweto and Crown Gardens);
- KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Province each have two; and
- Limpopo and North West boast one finalist each.
They are an impressive group and include a candidate attorney; students studying law, performing arts, and dietetics; a psychology honours graduate; entrepreneurs and small business owners and models.
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE TOP 10 MISS SOUTH AFRICA
Tamsyn Jack (25) is from Somerset West in the Western Cape. She is an entrepreneur working with some of South Africa’s leading start-ups and small businesses. Jack holds a degree in Food Science Degree from the University of Stellenbosch.
Pearl Ntshehi (25) Was born and bred in Mamelodi she currently resides in Centurion. Ntshehi is a candidate attorney and holder of a BCom Law, BCom Honours, and LLB degree.
23-year-old Ndavi Noker hail from Tzaneen in Limpopo. She boasts a BCom Investment Management degree from the University of Pretoria and is currently working for an asset management firm in Cape Town.
Luyanda Zuma is from Pietermaritzburg KwaZulu-Natal, she is an international model, entrepreneur, and a final year Bachelor of Live Performance student at AFDA. Her talents include sports, she played hockey for the KZN provincial team for six years.
25-year-old Luve Meyer is from Brackenfell in Cape Town, she is a full-time model and small business co-owner. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science and Social Services degree and an honours degree in psychology from the University of South Africa. She plans to complete her master’s degree in clinical psychology in the near future.
Lebgang Mahlangu (26) hails from Soshanguve in Tshwane and works for a multinational FMCG company as a procurement specialist. She has a BSc. Food Science degree from Stellenbosch University.
Keaoleboga Nkashe (26) is from Itsoseng in the North West province. She is a post-graduate student, freelance model and kindergarten teacher.
Itumeleng Parage (22) is from the Central Western Jabavu in Soweto, she is a Bachelor of Laws student with a Bachelor of Arts (Law Major) degree from the University of Witwatersrand.
Ayanda Thabethe (22) is from Taylor’s Halt in Pietermaritzburg. She is a model and in her final year of BSc in Dietetics and Human Nutrition at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She plans to branch into the research sector so she can play a role in developing nutrition-related guidelines to combat South Africa’s double burden of malnutrition and obesity.
23-year-old Anarzade Omar is from Crown Gardens in Johannesburg (Gauteng). She has a BA in Strategic Communication in Marketing from the University of Johannesburg and currently working as a Social Media Manager at a digital marketing agency. She is also a social media content creator and runs a small online sushi business that was launched during the Covid lockdown.
The Miss South Africa pageant will be hosted in Gauteng province this year, with the 2022 winner set to be crowned at Sun International’s flagship venue, the SunBet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria.
